For day market likely to remain volatile.
Buy:
3i Info(As mentioned previously if it closes above 190/= we can see new highs.)
Torrent Power.
For delivery one can check JB Chem:
As per Religare Security Reports:
J.B.Chem, after improving for a period of 20 months
from a low of Rs.47.50 in July 2004 to a high of
Rs.139.50 in February 2006, has declined to a level of
Rs.71.20. At the current price of Rs90, it is trading in
2C ZONE i.e. short term average has moved below
the medium term average which in turn remains above
long term average and the current price is placed
between medium term and long term averages. Buy at
declines in the range of Rs.84-87 with a stop loss
below Rs81.50 for a conservative upper target of
Rs.106 and an optimistic target of Rs.118. Holding
period can be 3-4 months.
Watch out for positive moves on Praj Ind, Reliance Infr and Tata Steel.
On Shorting side one can consider GTL which has heavy resistance at 150-152/=.

The markets were very volatile today and cracked in the last one hour before close.Today’s volatile session indicates that the market is still trying to find a direction. One should not go long/short heavily at these levels. Market can see more volatility as seen in last few days for next few sessions atleast. You should try to concentrate on your own portfolio rather then going to venture out in new unknown stocks in unknown terretory. We remain negative to neutral on SENSEX for the day.

Market may open weak for the day but can find strength on back of strong buying. One can look for buying oppertunity at dips. Following sectors and stocks looks hot for the day:
Petroleum (Look at HPCL, BPCL, IOC, IPCL.)
Infrastructure (Parsvnath, Lanco Infra, GMR Infra, Patel Engi, IVRCL Infra.)
Bank, Tech(UTI Bank, Financial Tech, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Aptech.)
Others Mixed(TITAN, Opto, Maharhtra Seamless, EKC, Panama Petro.)
But dont foget to keep appropriate S.L. in such markets.

Market update. December 5, 2006
Posted by Bhavin in Intraday Calls.add a comment
Tuesday, Indian markets commenced trading in positive territory on the strength of heavyweights across the board. The weighted BSE Sensex gap up opened a whopping 154 points at 14,028.47 and the NSE S&P CNX Nifty commenced flat at 4,001.25.
Currently, the Sensex is trading at 13,935, gaining 61 points, while the Nifty is up 16 points at 4,014. Investors are showing buying interest for stocks in the IT, cement and pharma sectors.
Among the Sensex stocks, Tata Steel, Wipro, Ranbaxy, HDFC bank and L&T are gaining almost a percent each. On the other hand, HDFC and ONGC are trading marginally lower.
At the NSE, GSK Pharma and Gujarat Ambuja are spurting more than 1.5% each. HCL Tech, BPCL and L&T are rising over a percent each. However, HDFC is declining 1% and is trailed along by Tata Motors and GAIL with a drop of over 0.5% each. ACC and Cipla are down about half a percent each.
The market breadth is in support of the gainers, who are leading the losers in the ratio of 28 to 2 at the Sensex and in the ratio of 45 to 5 at the Nifty. At the broader markets also, the advances are maintaining a comfortable lead over the decliners.

Market does not hold great upside for the day. There can be a downside correction definitely. Be selective in your stocks. The Union Government proposes to tap the cashrich West Asian countries for investments in power and other infrastructure projects in India. Tata Teleservices is believed to be back at the negotiating table with South Korea Telecom to sell stake to the company. Asian markets were mixed in midmorning trading Wednesday, with Japan\’s Nikkei 225 Index falling back as investors looked beyond gains on Wall Street to focus on a rise in the yen and possible negative effects on exporters such as Canon Inc.
