just came across your blog. i am 54 and have entered the stock market after many years, after harshad mehta episode when all my savings were eroded, i stayed away . now, i tried my hand at day trading. have been at it for 4 -5 months now, but till now am losing more than gaining. is there a atrategy that i should follow/ i have subscribed to an analyst’s messenger messages, he gives good alerts with stop loss and targets for about 10-12 stocks everyday. as a day trader, i trade in future lots where i have to put up only margins. but having small capital [ most of it is already eroded] i can only choose a few stocks from that, say 2-3. and the ones i chose invariably end up in stop loss. sometimes, the stock is up and i wait for the target and the stock goes down and hits stop loss. I AM NOT WILLING TO GIVE IT ALL UP AS MY BAD LUCK, SURELY THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD KNOW AND FOLLOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL. can you suggest something/

An ET study found that there are several corporates whose top executives draw a remuneration ranging from 10% to 70% of their reported profit after tax ……, there is the interesting case of South-based actor R Sarath Kumar, who was paid Rs 1.1 crore as non executive director of Radaan Mediaworks, which works out to 60% of the company’s reported net profit, 26% of operating profit and 3.7% of net sales. The chairperson of the company is his wife R Radikaa.
Radhika and her husband Sarathkumar are eating from somebody’s plate, eating up most of the company profits.

As of today March 8th, 2007… I feel it is true as most of us says the stock in BSE – SIEL LTD will be the best stock for the comming year.
This will be the best option as fars as sensex drives up in future.
SIEL las reached very base value today has has much space to go ahead to reach it default range 61-67 and also it will cross for sure to reach 220 in a year putin it’s 52Week value of 117!
Hope the best to get the 4 to 10 times as the opturnity like this crash comes in a blue moon day!!

hello to all! I am new around here as well as new to stock markets. I would like to have considered tip on Nifty, that i traded with for 1st time on 9th april, 07 which i sold short assuming markets may fall a little, now unrealised substantial loss; which has to be squared up on 26th this month…..what to do? valuable opinion will be highly appreciated!
